With this release, POLAAR unveils the first map of the label musical territory.
“Territoires Volume 1” opens with the percussive and watery Hansei by Prettybwoy. Follows Hoodrat’s Car Crash. An energetic but dark production with misty synths. The middle of the release is occupied by the tribal Isandula by SNKLS. The middle of the release is occupied by the tribal Isandula where SNKLS shows his techno influences and drum-programming skills. The japanese producer’s Untitled 0611 glitchy and melodic offers a nice fresh breath before getting transported again with high-pitched synth, percussions and complex basses of SNKLS’ Hemera. U closes the release with a bass-heavy ambiant track and an invitation for the listener to close his eyes.
Bringing once again cinematic tracks with a strong dance floor vibe, POLAAR doesn’t settle for easy listening and cheesy gimmicks. This long-player is an invitation to the exploration of the mind and its different emotional states.
